Driver App Wallet and COD

Drivers use the mobile app to review wallet balance, COD collections, and available settlement actions. The driver app is useful for visibility and self-service wallet settlement.

Wallet overview

Open Wallet in the driver app.

The wallet screen shows:

• Current wallet balance.
• COD amount that is still pending settlement.
• Quick actions such as COD collection list, remit cash navigation, wallet settlement, and withdrawal where available.
• Recent wallet activity.

View COD collections

Open the COD collection list from the wallet actions.

Drivers can review COD collection records by status. The important statuses are:

• collected: COD cash collected but not settled.
• remitted: Cash handover was recorded.
• settled_by_wallet: COD was cleared by wallet debit.

Settle COD by wallet from driver app

When pending COD exists, the driver can start wallet settlement from the wallet screen.

The app asks the driver to confirm because this will debit the wallet balance.

After the driver confirms:

• The app sends a wallet settlement request.
• The system totals the driver's pending collected COD.
• The system checks wallet balance.
• If balance is enough, the wallet is debited.
• The COD records become settled_by_wallet.

Cash remittance from driver app

The driver app lets drivers view COD records and navigate to COD collection information. Normal cash remittance is still recorded by the dispatcher in the portal after the business receives and verifies cash.

Use Dispatcher -> Remit Collections for the official cash remittance record.

Withdrawal note

The driver app wallet screen includes withdrawal-related UI, but the current driver-side withdrawal flow is not the primary COD settlement path. Use tenant admin financial processes and driver wallet review for payout operations.

Driver instructions

Tell drivers:

1. Complete COD deliveries normally.
2. Check Wallet to see pending COD.
3. If handing over cash, give cash to dispatcher and wait for the dispatcher to remit it.
4. If allowed to settle by wallet, confirm wallet settlement only when they understand the wallet will be debited.
5. Report mismatches before settlement is confirmed.
